We’ve said it before, and we’ll probably say it again, but in today’s music universe it can be hard to stand separate and apart from the crowd.

With music production easier than ever before, great material is harder and harder to come by, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t out there.

One of our favorite new finds comes from up-and-coming imprint Love Our Records, an outfit known for pushing the boundaries and (until recently) focusing strictly on production and sound vs. promotion and commercial efforts. Of course, everyone’s goal is to ultimately become self-sustainable, and if LOR continues their recent winning streak, that’ll happen in no time.

Producer Human Machine‘s latest effort is titled “Be Good” and seeing how Santa recently dropped down your chimney, the title is pretty fitting. Don’t expect jingle bells or children laughing however, as ”Be Good” is far more dark and bass heavy than you might expect.

A driving beat, classic hip-hop undertones and plenty of womp, make for an extremely unusual (yet dance-inducing) original. This is the stuff dance dreams are  made of.
