Its been one month since goth songstress Karin Park unleashed the Lady Tron remix of her hit single “Restless” onto the blogosphere, so its only fitting that a follow up drum & bass / dub re-interpretation from Genetix hits the web today.

“Restless” is a dark addicting killer-chorus track, over-flowing with that signature moody electronica sound. By adding a modern sounding, experimental 80’s pop feel and Karin’s unique vocals, “Restless” is a brooding, electro-pop track, industrial backed yet soft enough to easily cross over into the mainstream.

Genetix does a great job of staying true to the original material but adds a nice element of post apocalyptic sadness into the mix.

Restless will drop May 28th a long with Park‘s debut album, Highwire Poetry via State of the Eye Recordings.
