Alright dance fiends, lower your sub woofer, and trade in your love of wobble for guitar riffs and rock vocals — Walnut Creek, California’s very own Mister Loveless (Rob Miller, Charlie Koliha, Sean Gaffney, and Nick Clark) are back with a brand new music video, and a catchy, original sound– all while drawing upon childhood influences like The Pixies and The Smiths. Anybody else think that front man Rob Miller’s vocals are a little Paul Banks-esque? [Feel free to drop us a line in the comments.]
The Perez Brothers are responsible for directing duties on this relatively short (it only clocks in at 2:55) indie rock jam, and shooting locations included a green screen studio, a long with an elementary school classroom.
The Perez Brothers sum up the vibe of the video best by saying: [the video is] “The Breakfast Club meets Tom Goes to the Mayor.”
Light hearted, catchy and without a doubt danceable– we can only hope other aspiring artists take note from the guys behind Mister Loveless.
Check it out!
